Decorative picture frame border in landscape format, built from three bands: acanthus leaf, guilloche and dot row from the outside in. The corners are butt jointed with the side rail running through; the pattern repeats 14 times across and 9 times down. In addition, the bands are divided differently, 2 to 3 links per unit; the bands are separated by a gap; the links stand free on the background. Vines, leaves and blossoms are drawn as solid shapes and repeat link by link along the whole length. The fine bands are drawn with thin lines and stay legible at small print sizes.
