Decorative picture frame border in amber and purple with trefoil band

Decorative picture frame border in portrait format, built from four bands: greek key, gothic tracery, ring chain and trefoil band from the outside in. The corners are butt jointed with the top rail running through; the pattern repeats 13 times across and 16 times down. In addition, each unit carries four links. Vines, leaves and blossoms are drawn as solid shapes and repeat link by link along the whole length. The fine bands are drawn with thin lines and stay legible at small print sizes.
