Decorative picture frame border in square format, built from four bands: spiral scroll, trefoil band, arabesque and diamond band from the outside in. The corners are mitred; the pattern repeats 8 times across and 8 times down. In addition, each unit carries three links; the links stand free on the background. Vines, leaves and blossoms are drawn as solid shapes and repeat link by link along the whole length. The fine bands are drawn with thin lines and stay legible at small print sizes.
