Decorative picture frame border in portrait format, built from three bands: bud and stem, round moulding and arcade frieze from the outside in. The corners are mitred; the pattern repeats 4 times across and 14 times down. In addition, the bands are divided differently, 1 to 3 links per unit; the links stand free on the background.
