Decorative picture frame border in portrait format, built from three bands: rope moulding, laurel moulding and arabesque from the outside in. The corners are closed by a separate corner block; the pattern repeats 6 times across and 14 times down. In addition, each unit carries two links; the bands are separated by a gap; thin rules divide the bands; the links stand free on the background. Vines, leaves and blossoms are drawn as solid shapes and repeat link by link along the whole length. The fine bands are drawn with thin lines and stay legible at small print sizes.
