Decorative picture frame border in landscape format, built from two bands: tulip frieze and scrolling vine from the outside in. The corners are butt jointed with the side rail running through; the pattern repeats 13 times across and 4 times down. In addition, the bands are separated by a gap; the links stand free on the background. Vines, leaves and blossoms are drawn as solid shapes and repeat link by link along the whole length.
