Decorative picture frame border in portrait format, built from four bands: egg and dart, cove moulding, star band and guilloche from the outside in. The corners are butt jointed with the top rail running through; the pattern repeats 4 times across and 5 times down. In addition, the bands are divided differently, 2 to 3 links per unit; the bands are separated by a gap. The fine bands are drawn with thin lines and stay legible at small print sizes.
