Decorative picture frame border in square format, built from three bands: palmette, acanthus leaf and checkerboard band from the outside in. The corners are butt jointed with the top rail running through; the pattern repeats 7 times across and 7 times down. In addition, each unit carries two links; thin rules divide the bands.
