Seamless star trail of dots in magenta on a transparent background

Glitter dust overlay on a transparent ground, format 4:3, 4096 × 3072 pixels, 12.6 megapixels. 1596 individual dust grains — dots — form a star trail with a dense head and a fading tail. Some grains cross the sheet edge and are clipped there. Their diameters range from 1.8 to 21.4 per mille of the short edge, half of them below 9.7 — fine dust with a few coarser grains among it, no large individual pieces. The colours are magenta, purple, cyan, pale pink. 577 grains (36 per cent) are near white, every grain carries a metallic gradient, 698 have a soft halo, 333 a light cross. The tile wraps on all four sides and repeats seamlessly. Pure vector, no filters and no embedded pixels; the ground is transparent throughout.
