Seamless star trail of stars in magenta on a transparent background

Glitter dust overlay on a transparent ground, format 70:99, 2896 × 4096 pixels, 11.9 megapixels. 1012 individual dust grains — stars — form a star trail with a dense head and a fading tail. Some grains cross the sheet edge and are clipped there. Their diameters range from 0.7 to 26.4 per mille of the short edge, half of them below 21.7 — fine dust with a few coarser grains among it, no large individual pieces. The colours are magenta, purple, cyan, pale pink. 102 grains (10 per cent) are near white, every grain carries a metallic gradient, 112 have a soft halo, 256 a light cross. The tile wraps on all four sides and repeats seamlessly. Pure vector, no filters and no embedded pixels; the ground is transparent throughout.
