Seamless star trail of baubles on a transparent background

Glitter dust overlay on a transparent ground, format 1:2, 2048 × 4096 pixels, 8.4 megapixels. 1618 individual dust grains — baubles — form a star trail with a dense head and a fading tail. Some grains cross the sheet edge and are clipped there. Their diameters range from 1.3 to 16.9 per mille of the short edge, half of them below 4.1 — fine dust with a few coarser grains among it, no large individual pieces. The colours are pale blue, light grey, white. 563 grains (35 per cent) are near white, every grain carries a metallic gradient, 297 have a soft halo, 48 a light cross. The tile wraps on all four sides and repeats seamlessly. Pure vector, no filters and no embedded pixels; the ground is transparent throughout.
