Seamless star trail in red and orange on a transparent background

Glitter dust overlay on a transparent ground, format 2:1, 4096 × 2048 pixels, 8.4 megapixels. 6181 individual dust grains — snowflakes and shards — form a star trail with a dense head and a fading tail. Some grains cross the sheet edge and are clipped there. Their diameters range from 3.4 to 30.3 per mille of the short edge, half of them below 16.2 — fine dust with a few coarser grains among it, no large individual pieces. The colours are red, orange, pink, amber. 965 grains (16 per cent) are near white, every grain carries a metallic gradient, 1328 have a soft halo, 939 a light cross. The tile wraps on all four sides and repeats seamlessly. Pure vector, no filters and no embedded pixels; the ground is transparent throughout.
