Seamless star trail of crescents on a transparent background

Glitter dust overlay on a transparent ground, format 70:99, 2896 × 4096 pixels, 11.9 megapixels. 1710 individual dust grains — crescents — form a star trail with a dense head and a fading tail. Some grains cross the sheet edge and are clipped there. Their diameters range from 0.7 to 13.3 per mille of the short edge, half of them below 4.5 — fine dust with a few coarser grains among it, no large individual pieces. The colours are pale pink, pale red, white. 684 grains (40 per cent) are near white, 182 have a soft halo, 99 a light cross. The tile wraps on all four sides and repeats seamlessly. Pure vector, no filters and no embedded pixels; the ground is transparent throughout.
