Seamless star trail of stars in magenta on a transparent background

Glitter dust overlay on a transparent ground, format 4:3, 4096 × 3072 pixels, 12.6 megapixels. 1469 individual dust grains — stars — form a star trail with a dense head and a fading tail. Some grains cross the sheet edge and are clipped there. Their diameters range from 2.6 to 11.8 per mille of the short edge, half of them below 9.0 — fine dust with a few coarser grains among it, no large individual pieces. The colours are magenta, purple, white. 569 grains (39 per cent) are near white, every grain carries a metallic gradient, 432 have a soft halo, 512 a light cross. The tile wraps on all four sides and repeats seamlessly. Pure vector, no filters and no embedded pixels; the ground is transparent throughout.
